Service Description

A punch biopsy is a procedure where we remove a piece of tissue using a small circular blade under local anaesthesia. Usually a 4mm diameter sample of tissue is removed and sent to the pathology laboratory for analysis to help with diagnosis and management decisions.

Cancellation Policy

While we endeavor to provide patients with a courtesy reminder email for their appointments, it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to remember the appointment time. Our practice requires 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us time to book another patient into the appointment slot. Where this is not provided, a cancellation fee of 50% of the planned consultation/treatment applies.
